The Office of Graduate Fellowships is pleased to host founder and Director Vicki Johnson for an information session about how can help you locate fellowship opportunities for professional development and graduate study/training. is a network of former fellows, higher education professionals, and fellowship granting foundations/organizations.’s aim is to make it easier for candidates to find fellowships, including both well-known programs and new or obscure opportunities, by centralizing this information in a user-friendly online database.  This resource is especially useful for identifying competitive fellowship programs in fields such as public policy, international relations, law, business, journalism, and related pre-professional areas.

Ms. Johnson is an alumna of 4 competitive fellowship programs, including the New York City Urban Fellows Program (2001-2), the German Chancellor Fellowship (2003-4), the Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship (2005) and the Ian Axford (New Zealand) Fellowship in Public Policy (2011).  In her presentation Ms. Johnson will talk about her own experience as a fellow and about what ProFellow has to offer.  The Director of Graduate Fellowships, Dr. Kay Agoston, will be on hand to discuss Mason’s resources for graduate students seeking fellowship opportunities.
