NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program – Come Learn More!

Come and learn more about the NSF GRFP, one of the most prestigious and generous awards for graduate study in the STEM fields and Social Sciences!

What is the NSF GRFP?
The NSF GRFP provides up to three years of comprehensive funding for graduate study in STEM fields and Social Sciences, including a $32,000 stipend, tuition assistance, and professional development opportunities.  You can use the NSF GRFP to continue study at Mason or to take with you wherever you will continue your studies as a graduate student.

Who should attend?
NEW graduate students (less than 3 total semesters in graduate school) and undergraduate students who are considering graduate school (Master’s or PhD) in an NSF supported discipline.

What will this session cover?
The session will provide basic information about the program and the application process.  There will be time for Q&A.

What is the application deadline?
The GRFP deadline falls annually in November.  If you are organized, there is still time to apply this year!  But students who are thinking of applying in future years are also welcome at the session.
