Critical Language Scholarship General Information Session

Learn more about the Critical Languages Scholarship (CLS) program with Mason’s fellowships advisers and a representative of the CLS competition.

CLS is a program of the U.S. Department of State offering opportunities for U.S. citizen students at all levels to participate in fully funded summer programs for Critical Languages.  Programs are offered in Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu.  Some languages have pre-requisites; for others, beginners will be accepted.  For more information, please visit the program web site:  http://www.clscholarship.org/

This session is open to all students interested in learning more about CLS, including both graduate and undergraduate students in all fields of study.  Please note that this program is open only to U.S. Citizens.

A representative of the CLS program will be offering information and taking questions from students at this session.
