College of Science Graduate Fellowships Info Session

This information session is for new and continuing graduate students in College of Science (COS) master’s and doctoral programs.  The session will focus on opportunities open to graduate students in the sciences, including

  • Federal government initiatives such as NSF GRFP, DOD-SMART, NDSEG, EPA-STAR, and Department of Energy awards;
  • Field-specific and targeted opportunities, including fellowships sponsored by private foundations, professional organizations, and corporations;
  • Fellowships and awards for dissertation research in the sciences;
  • Opportunities for overseas research in the sciences, including Fulbright grants, Boren fellowships, and NSF summer seminars.

The session will also include general advice on how to approach graduate fellowships and strategies to improve your chances of success.
