Brown Bag: Fellowships for International Research and Language Study

March 15, 2016 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Grab your lunch and come learn more about opportunities for graduate students to conduct overseas research and/or gain proficiency in a foreign language through immersive overseas programs.  This session will cover opportunities like the Fulbright U.S. Student Program grants, Boren Fellowships, Critical Language Scholarships, plus programs for overseas doctoral dissertation research such as Fulbright-Hays, SSRC IDRF, CAORC, and more.  We will also talk about country- and region- specific grants, and offer tips on how to plan for these competitions and what selection committees look for in a competitive application.

Fellowships are a great way to internationalize your career prospects!  Don’t miss this information-packed brown bag session.  Cookies and snacks will be provided.
